As i approached the winner, which at that time had the head of the giant, i noticed that there was an implant in the skull of the giant near the forehead, a gem with spikes and flesh still attached to it, so i took it back to my lab. I noticed on the back of the gem was an inscription "Mantis Tech Designs" and i asked the tall woman about it. "We here at the labs work for another company called Red Mantis, we produce a liquid and tech called mantisin, which can affect the giants with the energy of the earth and help them channel it". I was very interested in gaining that power, so i attached the gem to a braclet that i had on my right arm, and added some liquid ontop to help it merge and connect to my skin and bones. After several days of practice on fake dummies of giants in the pitts training arena i finally got the device on my hand to charge me with the red energy and was able to charge my chain and other objects that i had in my arsenal. I remember back on mars we had an industry called Vertabranium, named after the tech and acid we had derived from the vertabrasuar creature in the earth and sand. I was also able after a few more days to create a hybrid mix from my left hand white fire and charge the djinn i summoned with an electrical charge to make it more able to affect its power through the earth and metal at a further distance and also back at me...I had noticed after a few weeks that the others were doing well fighting in the arena and the scarlet staff was becoming a favourite new disign of the Crimson Veil, the new group Marony started...I went to check it out...
